Far too many of us believe that we are not artistic -- or worse, that we're not creative -- simply because we couldn't draw a recognizable cat (or anything else) in kindergarten. I was burdened by this misconception well into my thirties, when a literal wrong turn set me on a path of creative discovery that has altered and enriched every aspect of my life. (I still draw consumptive looking cats, however.)
Acrylic Pouring, aka Fluid Art, is the perfect art form for people who resist or doubt their artistic ability and creativity. There is no prior knowledge, skill or experience required. This is abstract art; there are no rules and there is no way to get it wrong! The only risk is that you get a little paint on your clothes.
My name is Rebecca Lippman. Through classes in my Washington DC-area studio, workshops and presentations at private and corporate events, retreats and individual coaching, I help others discover their own strengths, talents and passions -- artistic and otherwise -- and support and encourage them on their creative journeys.
